BST Hyde Park returns to London from 27 June to 12 July 2026, bringing another two weeks of live music, large-scale outdoor performances and cultural programming to one of the city’s most recognisable public spaces. The festival’s 2026 edition features artists spanning country, K-pop, pop, indie rock and classic British music, reflecting the increasingly broad audience that major summer festivals now attract.
A Line-Up That Reflects a Changing Festival Audience
This year’s headline programme opens with Garth Brooks on 27 June, marking his first UK show in almost three decades. He is followed by South Korean group ATEEZ, whose Hyde Park appearance is being promoted as a UK-exclusive performance.
The following weekends bring a mix of established international acts, including Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran and Pitbull. The festival closes with two headline performances from Lewis Capaldi after strong demand led to the addition of a second show.
More Than a Music Festival
One reason BST Hyde Park remains distinctive is its location. Rather than taking place on the outskirts of a city, the festival temporarily transforms part of central London into a cultural venue.
The result is a different type of festival experience. Visitors can attend a major concert while remaining connected to the wider city, making BST feel less like an isolated event and more like an extension of London’s summer cultural season.
Between headline concert days, the festival’s Open House programme also returns, featuring activities ranging from orchestral performances and public events to community-focused programming.
A Festival Embedded in the City
BST Hyde Park reflects a broader trend in urban cultural programming. Increasingly, large events are designed not only around performances but around place itself.
Much like London Craft Week, SXSW London and the London Festival of Architecture, BST uses the city as part of the experience. Hyde Park becomes both venue and backdrop, turning a public space into a temporary cultural hub.
That combination of global artists, accessible public space and city-centre location is what continues to make BST one of the defining events of London’s summer calendar.
